MY GARDEN
The new steps leading up to my front door where a porch is currently being built and the little shed, where my freezer and laundry facilities live, create an interesting frame for the view across the Fens from this angle in my garden. The telegraph pole is my only obstacle for miles allowing me to view the seasons as they play with the landscape.
This is where the sun sets, delivering endless drama night after night, from pink, candy cane stripes to the roaring flames of hell itself before tucking it's weary head beneath the crops.

SUCH A PRETTY RENDERING! STEPS LOOK LIKE MARBLE ...!
Thankyou Lin.
The steps are actually York stone but the sun brought out an array of colours within them.
Nice sketch of a very pleasant area. I like the way the background seems to go on forever behind the business of your home.
I like this drawing; it's well done!
I like your painting and really like your description. Between the two I have a wonderful insight on how much you love where you live and I can catch that vision as well! Well done!
That is just LOVELY, Anita, and what a joy to live there...
OH wow, I really like this. I feel like I am right there. :)
Thankyou Jenny. The Fens do go on forever, huge skies and flat lands...It is very special here.
Thankyou Claudia!

Thankyou Laser.
What a pretty sketch of a lovely spot! How lucky you are to have a beautiful view to watch each day.
Thankyou Joan. I am lucky, I have views like this in every direction from my home. :)
I really enjoyed catching up on your blog today. Your line work is so delicate, and your colors are so subdued...It's very refreshing and relaxing. I especially liked this sketch and the story you told about your view, and the one of the barn. And of course the Disney sketches are fabulous. It's great fun to travel with you. Thanks for taking us along.
Wow, this is gorgeous. The detail on the steps is amazing.
Another beautiful sketch. I love where you live and I've never even been there. It looks so peaceful and comforting. I never get tired of looking at your art.
