THE FIVE ALLS, Benwick, Cambridgeshire. UK

The Five Alls Are:
I govern all. -I pray for all. - I plead for all. - I fight for all. - I pay for all

The Five alls is the only remaining pub in Benwick and was the focus of my trip yesterday morning. I parked my truck at the top of Skeifs Row, facing the pub, and sketched it in my large watercolour moleskin sketchbook.

That's an unusual name for a pub...never come across that before. Very nice sketch. It was interesting to read about your sketching kit in the last post...thanks for sharing that.

Great painting! Great pub! You really have a way of making buildings so warm and inviting.

Nice job on this! Places like this have such character, and you did a lovely job on it.

I really enjoy seeing town structures drawn by someone creative who comes across them and sees their intrinsic aesthetic...their 'aura'...and takes the time to capture it. Thank-you.

Now...what about the truck? When do we get a look at the truck?!
