DODDINGTON CRICKET CLUB
The final Sunday game for the Doddington Cricket Club this season took place on Sunday 9th and I offered to make the 'teas' giving me the perfect excuse to watch my Son play, try to understand the game a little more and capture a sketch.
Oh....They won!

this really gives the feel of a sporting/outdoors event - I like the interesting position
This is a great sketch! :)
Excellent sketch. Glad the right team won!
Great sketch, you can really feel the mass of his body! What a great opportunity for some life drawings! Looks like you were close enough too to get a drawing as good as this.
Great sketch! You really captured his pose well.
My husband loves cricket but we can't watch any games where we live now. It's nice that you can go to the games in person, and sketching would give you something to do because they are so long.
Thanx Azul!
Thankyou laser
Thanx Dave! :)
Thanx Felicity. The scorers bench was right infront of me, I wish I'd made more use of that on the day.
Thankyou Joan!
Shame you can't find anything local to you Carolyn. Yes, I should have made far more use of these games this year....maybe next year!
Nicely done. Very natural and relaxed looking pose.
