I left early for life class in Whittlesey again today, parking in a lay-by facing the Butter Cross, I sketched from the truck.
A pigment liner, small travel set of W&N watercolours and a water brush were the tools I used to fill another page in my large watercolour moleskin.

wow! I was in the UK three years ago this month....for the wedding of some friends on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. Had two weeks of travel in England and Scotland...mostly by train and foot....wasn't drawing then...you amazing pictures make me yearn to go back...with a sketchbook...forEVER!!....deni...;)

Oh Deni, don't you just wish you could have all those past holidays over again now you have your sketchbook?...I know I do. I think of all those places I have seen, spent time in, places with interesting architecture that were just around the corner to me at one time and I want to live them again with a sketchbook in hand.
