Pigment liner and watercolour in A6 Venezia sketchbook
The good weather continued today until thunder storms took over at around 3pm. So, I took a chair into the yard side of the studio, behind the summerhouses, and sketched my gorgeous haven of creativity.
I do not usually see this view, I enter from a door on the garden side and when I throw the French doors open and sketch from the small patio I usually face out towards the Fens, it made a nice change...I could stare at her all day!
I moved into my studio last August, such an exciting time...I still feel those same butterflies, as I pass through the lavender and step onto the deck that leads to her, even now.

Wonderful sketch! I can see why you would want to spend your time there. It's just beautiful.
Oh my, your studio looks ideal. You should be able to create with great joy and abandonment in there. Love the view from the French doors. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so jealous that you have such a lovely studio. Nice sketch of it from this side.
Thankyou Lin!
Thanks Juj!
You're welcome Kay! :)
LOL...Thankyou Joan!
I am so envious! I have wanted a studio forever. It's coming, it's just taking longer than we thought. I hope my creativity goes through the roof with a creative hub. Enjoy it!
