MY GARDEN

A very quick sketch of the statue that sits on my rockery leading towards the summerhouses.

I found your blog by clicking the "next blog" link from mine. I haven't done this in ages, but I'm glad I did.

I was a painting major in college. I'm a professional photographer now, but it's been a LONG time since I've picked up a paintbrush or a sketch pad. I must have looked through your entire blog - smiling the whole time. I remember how it felt always having paint under my fingernails and never going anywhere without a pencil.

Beautiful work. An elegant way to view the real world..

Oh! She's wonderful. It must bring you a lot of pleasure to see her in your garden everyday. As always your line work and color have combined to create a simply lovely sketch. Thank you for sharing.
