FRANKIE AND BENNY'S, Huntindgon, Cambridgeshire. UK

A trip out to Frankie & Benny's restaurant in Huntingdon today prompted some quick sketches in my small moleskin sketchbook using my new handbag sketch kit.

I had a crayfish cocktail starter followed by F&B's famous BBQ chicken and ribs, which I would have loved to have sketched for you but they just didn't stay on the plate long enough I'm afraid.
I assure you...they were delicious though!

The sketch to the right shows part of their menu decorated with old Italian photographs and the sketch above shows the glazed cabinets that run adjacent on two walls filled with various jars and bottles.

Hi, Anita,

I don't comment nearly often enough. Love your sketches and thanks for including us in your life! These are treasures!

Beautiful! And it sounds so delicious ... no wonder the food wasn't around long enough to draw!

Anita, I love how you sketch almost everywhere. I did buy a small moleskin sketchbook to keep in my purse. Great sketches!

Joan, it's become a bit of an addiction to be honest. I now find my sketchbooks to be a general part of my day.
Much like my keys and purse...I simply cannot leave the house without a sketchbook...or two!
