RIVER NENE, Benwick, Cambridgeshire. UK

Summer Journal 2007

Took Harry, my youngest, to Benwick river this afternoon to feed the ducks. The sun shone brightly and quite unexpectedly and together we took full advantage of this rare pleasure.

Wonderful sketch of Harry - you've captured the atmosphere of the day- ok I wasn't there, but there's a lot of atmosphere in this drawing!

It is a lovely spot Dave. Yes, I can't imagine what these poor people are going through with all these floods.

Great sketch of your son. Enjoy those moments, for they grow up so fast.

You're so right Sherie, I'm hoping this journal will be something that helps both me and the boys remember their younger days a little better when we're all a little older.
