MY GARDEN

7.45pm this evening, sitting in the doorway of the studio looking out onto my garden across the deck.

'Like a finely tuned orchestra, my garden plays a never ending concerto . The birds sing unashamedly, calling those they love, while the fish in the pond plop vicariously providing a deep bass.
Machinery long gone from the fields - nature reunites with her rightful territory and one can't help becoming lost in her song!'

Beautiful! I have a butterfly bush that I just planted this year and it's taking off splendidly. Same color, too. This is a wonderful composition.

Thanx Sherie.
Good luck with your shrub, mine attracts so many butterflies and is my most favourite spot to walk past in the garden.

We used to have a big ol' butterfly bush that grew from a teeny, tiny, little sprig. When we moved it was taller than me. We don't have one now...thanks for sharing! Beautiful sketch; and don't those greens just look like fresh makin's for salad?
