MY DROVE

This is the view across The Fens from both my lounge and my dining room windows.

This year the farmer has planted linseed, my most favourite of crops with it's tiny blue flower heads, and for the past couple of weeks this is what I have faced each morning when I open the hall door and enter my lounge.

The Fens are renowned for their huge, magnificent skies, this is the same view at different times of the year:





These are the views that decorate our evening meals as we sit at the dining table. They are the reason I had a window seat built and the reason I have roller blinds throughout my home...So I can roll them all the way up and bring the outside in.
